About me!
After having several jobs, from being a flight attendant to working in public relations, I have found a career that involves all of the things I love! I graduated with a Bachelor's in public relations from the University of South Alabama but didn't totally enjoy the world of PR, and eventually became a certified teacher in the state of Texas. Upon moving to Georgia, I acquired my Georgia teaching certificate and also became a TAG certified teacher. Initially I was drawn to high school, but I am especially passionate middle-schoolers. Coolest kids ever!
Personally, I have three children of my own. One Fulton County graduate, and two who are still in Fulton County Schools; therefore, I can relate to what my students and parents are experiencing. I am very proud of our school system. My family and I have a busy home life, complete with dog, just like many of you. I enjoy reading, creating, beautifying, traveling, writing as if my work will be published some day, coffee drinking...and sleeping, but only very occasionally.
